To HE, the president of the ruling party: Ke kopa go botsa, nnaare mo BoTswana when we elect politicians to govern country the country on our behalf and they feel the need not to account to us when theres grave concerns of national interest. For example, some of the people and indeed myself have constantly berated Mokaila Kitso other ministers for their ministries failures. Doesnt the head of state Ian Khama appreciate the import that there are times where issues are beyond his ministers where he MUST take to his usual podium, the Bdptv, to address and update us BaTswana to atleast assure us that he or his govt is doing something to correct these endemic failings of his entire govt. At times you may wonder why he always isnt bothered about any issues of national interest. plaguing BaTswana i.e MoESD, electricity aka load shedding, corruption and water rationing, etc, I guess he doesnt feel obliged to speak to the people who, by the way, didnt give the mandate through ballot box at the countrys general elections. Our recent Voter Registration concerns dont mean anything whatsoever to him because it wouldnt affect him, if it did, hed have appealed to BaTswana to be encouraged to register and vote in this years forthcoming elections. Well the only form of voting hes alive and ever subjected to is exclusively that of Tomokraag. Remember hes solely voted for by maTomokraag within their party and not BaTswana as a whole, but is expected to rule us all as our head of state. Why would he feel obliged to take us (non bpd members BaTswana) any seriously? I hope you now realise why his indifference makes perfect sense. Outside the obvious uninspiring and lacklustre state of the nation address fixtures (of which I suspect he only honours because he knows hed embarrass his beloved bdp), go akega le lehatshe le lotlhe a aba dikobo le go tshola mero ya phiri as his only means of engaging the citizenry, it seems he doesnt feel he owes us any explanation mme re mo duela monthly.
