To: HR Re: The lingo Hi friendly HR team, I have a bit of an embarrassing request. I dont feel as though I quite fit into the office culture here. Ive never worked in private enterprise before having spent my entire career thus far in the public service. Id like your help in grasping some missing elements of office emails that have been circulating recently. What are units (apart from bizarre and irritating people, which Im assuming is not the intended usage here)? and why is moving them so important? Are we all expected to chip-in when it comes to rearranging these units? If you could help me out with some of the terminology and core concepts here, thatd be much appreciated.
