I have spoken at least seventeen times at @ the city of Clarksdale Town Hall-Meeting on subjects from installing security cameras at the city/county court-house house, e Equipping police officers with body cameras. I also asked the mayor and informed him of the conditions Of the drains and flooding in Clarksdale, MS. City streets to no-avail. Mayor, Luckett, Stated in one of the City hall meeting that he wanted Public Works Director, Todd Jones, to look into having state-inmates Clean out city drains. As of 9 to 10 months later this has not been done. I asked Mayor, Luckett, Too Contact Congressman: Bennie Thompson, about attaining Federal Block Grant Money for streets and Drains up-grades as of today a I am yet waiting to hear from Mayor, Luckett. On August 26, 2013, I Contacted Police Chief, William (Witt) Read, about investigating seven/7-police officers who violated My Civil-Rights, because I did not give them permission to search my home without a search warrant We have asked the (Mayor) through community out-reach to allow the city to install/erect (Baskets Courts) and Tennis courts in Ward 1, 2, 3 and 4, with no-response from the mayor. Our youth needs Activities after school once their home-work is completed and on weekends. This will help deter them From Gangs and Violence. I am here today to help finish what Mayor Candidate Mr. Marco McMillian, Started/had plan for the city of Clarksdale, MS. Jobs, Stopping Youth Incarceration, and Violence. You can kill a Revolutionary, but you cannot the Revolution. We the citizen of Clarksdale, MS. Are sick and tired of hearing and listening to Your-Rhetoric!
