I guess seeing thousands of fan wearing panda hats and panda heads meant nothing to you? I will make a prediction, and it is based on history not on my heart. Just like Josh Hamilton and Albert Pojols did not get the Angels a World Series ring or the vaulted Dodgers who have more money than sense, you will make little difference to a team that has a revolving door policy with players. You will take your new found wealth to expand you girth till you have a hard time moving and the Boston press wolves will eat you alive just like they did Terry Francona. You played for a team that played like a team, had chemistry, and a loving fan base, so you left us for the nearly the same amount of money? Go screw yourself. And I guess the Red Sox will appreciate the caustic atmosphere of your other big money signing of Hanley Ramirez you just pulled off. This is what wrong with professional sports; your heroes leave and screw the paying public. That is why teams like the Red Sox, Yankees, Dodgers and Angles ruin baseball because when you can’t afford a ticket then you have little interest and stay home. The one thing I regret was the panda hat I bought for my Grand Daughter, I was waiting for when she was old enough to take her to a game with it.
