To Our Fancy Kitty Family: As many of you know, my wife Susan and I are not getting any younger and in recent months we have had a very difficulty time hiring and keeping quality help for our business. We are at a point in our life when we would like to have a bit more time off to spend with our Grandchildren and do a few more things that we just haven’t had enough spare time to allow. So, at this time we have elected to take a business partner for Anderson Originals & Fancy kitty products, LLC. Our new partners are Lamar and Melody High and their 9 children. They are a Pennsylvania Dutch family that have been in the oak furniture business for a number of years, so have great work ethics as well as a lot of experience building wood products. I believe they will be a great asset to our business, allowing us to expand our product line, while maintaining our high quality and very high standards for customer service. Please welcome them and be assured there will be no major changes in the way we do business. In celebration of the High family joining our business and just in time for Christmas, we will be making a couple immediate changes. Effective 25 November, all Kitten drum carders, motor kits, mini pickers, and Studio Bench Pickers will have a tung oil finish applied as a standard and this will no longer be an additional cost option. Starting on the 25th of November and lasting until the 15th of December, all standard Kitten drum carders, and Kitten Motor Kits purchased from our website, will have a 5% discount from the list price. All Little Tom, Little Tom XL Wide, Big Tom, and Big Tom XL Wide carders as well as the Studio Bench Pickers will have a 10% discount for the same time period.
