Not over, unfinished, incomplete, unfulfilled, and still in full swing, for you. There are the things that go bump in the night. You hear the things scratching, crawling, stepping, in the shadows? For the rest of this year, and well into the next, and the next, till a time undetermined. Your accumulated crimes, atrocities & brutalities have been long ago counted, and enumerated & considered at length. Halloween isnt over, for you, and it will never be over, for you. Everyday Is Halloween, for your kind. There are the things that go bump in the night. You hear the things scratching, crawling, stepping, in the shadows? In the silent stillness of the night, You hear the drip-drip of the bathroom faucet? or is it the kitchen faucet? or is it the faucet at all? What is it that is dripping? Is it in the basement? You hear the scratching noises in the basement or across the house? The faintest scratching noise. You hear it? And not just the things that go bump in the night, the things that go bump in the daylight, just around that corner behind you, watching, waiting . . . Is Halloween over for you? Is it over for you? Lay down to sleep. Is something lurking nearby, to bring retribution? Some nameless, unspeakable horror, or something longlived & ancient, from your nightmares? It isnt over, for you.
