To, Shri Narendra Modiji Chairperson Election Campaign Committee - BJP Subject : Structure of Local Level party offices of BJP (NDA) to manage next general election effectively. Respected sir, With reference to a message on facebook page of BJYM, please find my suggestion for general election 2014. We are aware that increase in total number of political parties and subsequent increase in total number of contesting candidates has increased overall political competition in the country. We need a highly dynamic team at local level to manage every aspect of election campaigning in modernized way. We can implement following points to manage election campaign process with greater degree of confidence in all the 543 parliamentary constituencies. It will be better to setup minimum 50 (fifty) local offices in each assembly constituency of all the 543 parliamentary constituencies (total 4120 assembly segments). One such local office will be responsible to manage overall aspect of election campaign including monitoring, analysis & reporting for five polling booths in its locality. Workforce enhancement, Publicity Management, Intensive Door to Door Communication, Data Analysis & Reporting to senior leaders are major activities during any type of election. We can setup four teams to organize and manage these activities effectively. Details of working of all these teams are as follows. • Workforce enhancement team : Mainly responsible for registration, ideological training & proper deployment of new volunteers / members. We will assign them a target to register and activate minimum 25 to 30 workers on each polling booth. • Publicity Management team : Mainly responsible for distribution and proper display of all the publicity materials like banners, posters, pamphlets, video clip, film etc. in different areas. • Intensive Door to Door (worker to voter) Communication team : Mainly responsible for establishing communication with voters by visiting their (voters/electors) homes at regular intervals. If possible please try to maintain a weekly / monthly record (summary) of all such communications. • Workers Feedback collection, Data Analysis & Reporting team : Mainly responsible for maintaining all the feedback from ground zero, voter list management, inclusion of new voters, locality wise voters analysis, campaign analysis, response analysis and preparation of final weekly and monthly reports (popularity graph etc). Communication with senior leaders on all the local issues, delivery of different reports to different levels as per requirement etc. Thanks/Regards Sanjay
