To The District Collector O/O Collectorate, Chatrapur, District Ganjam. Camp at Berhampur. Subject: Removal of the Injurious Vodafone tower from the locality. Respected Sir, We the undersigned residents of the Medical Bank Colony, beg to state following few lines for appropriate legal action in the matter detailed below. 1. Sir, we are inhabitants of the colony residing in our own houses for more than 25 years living peacefully till 2007, but to our misfortune our tranquil life was disturbed when the land lady named Puspanjali Patra D/o having her Plot no. ----- of Khata No.---- of Mouza Luchapada of Tahasildar Kukudakhandi was leased out her land [ which is the part of the same layout of the undersigned signatory inhabitants ] to the Vodafone since 2007, causing immense harassment and damages to the lives and living of the inhabitants. 2. The recent Phailini cyclone has added more trauma to the inhabitants as the high raising towers adjacent to the habitable locality are call for danger and precocity, and it was evident that at Berhampur many similar high raising towers were gutted leaving trauma to the local inhabitants; likewise we the residents/inhabitants too are feeling insecure of our lives as we feel it is nothing less than the ‘Jyamadanda’ hanging on our heads with the trickling countdown. 3. The transmission equipment of the Vodafone is an injurious equipment emits injurious radio waves not good for health and same being operated and supplied electrical connection by Southco through a transmitter which is more often burst because of lack of proper maintenance and often in absence of the Power supplied by the Southco, they run the machinery of telephone transmission by a supply of energy by a Generator causing immense disturbances through injurious vibrations of sound and obnoxious substances emitting out as injurious smokes making the lives of the inhabitants around a hell for round the cloak and for that they are to lead sleepless nights with physical strain and mental agony. 4. That in view of the above stated facts and circumstances we herein put our grievance to your good office to take appropriate legal action against the land lady for keeping the injurious equipment on her land along with the management of the Vodafone Telcome Services, for removal of the risky high raising tower amidst us to repose us with confidence of safe living in our own houses and for the acts of good office we shall be obliged to you for ever. Thanking you sir Berhampur Faithfully -12-2013
