To The "Greatest Generation"(Book by Tom Brokaw) thank you for our heroism and courage. Thank you for being that humble hero who would shrug your shoulders when asked if your were a hero in the war and state no but I served with some. Eventhough you were awarded the purple heart for being wounded, Bronze Star, Silver Star, Distiguished Service Cross or the Medal of Honor for valor. Froze during the Seige of Bastogne, suffered in sweltering in the heat of the South Pacific and North Africa surviving on minimal food and water rations and still carried the fight to the enemy.
