*******To The Guild Hall****** The party makes its way east following the south shore towards the Wharf and the guild hall. The fog above descends and soon your visibility is decreased to about three feet. Youre able to continue to navigate purely by listening to the soft sound of the waves hitting the shore. Its hard to tell if your avoiding zombies. There could be none or their could be hundreds, four feet away, you dont know. Sometimes the sounds of faint shuffling and or moaning raise your guard but either by your good luck or someone elses bad luck you encounter no walking dead. In time you make it to the wharf. Slowly and quietly you travel the boardwalk using the planks like brail. Somewhere far off you hear the cry of battle or perhaps its the screams of victimhood. You pause to see if anything around you stirs. You hear the rhythmic lap of waves under the wharf and the creaking of boards. Unable to determine whether the creaking is the foot steps of the dead or the rocking of the boats pulling against their births you continue on. In time you make it to the boardwalk raised above the water that leads to the Guild Hall. The lonely six foot wide plank walk way disappears into the fog. You know the guild hall is about forty feet away down the narrow boardwalk but you cant see it. You stop and listen. Somewhere in the fog you hear distressed breathing, the sound of disturbed water, the moaning of the undead, the newly learned sound of a body being consumed, and the sound of a rope struggling against its knot. What do you do?
