To, The Honble Minister, Department of Telecom, Govt of India, - TopicsExpress

To, The Honble Minister, Department of Telecom, Govt of India, New Delhi I am a consumer of Reliance Mobile phone (prepaid) since last ten years and had made a prepaid recharge of my mobile no. 9334083807 on 12.09.2014 for Rs 55/- Today, when I tried to make a call, I came to know that only Rs 17/- balance was available in the account. When contacted with the customer care no.198 of the Reliance, I was informed that the remaining balance was charged for M RadioNSuprabhat service, which I never requested or consented. Moreover, I am not aware of this service provided by the telephone company and the person at Customer Care also was not able to explain about the services. I am not making this complaint for a small amount of about Rs. 30/, but to divert your attention, as to how the telecos are cheating the poor and common man of their hard earned money in the name of providing such services. If investigated properly, it could be a mega scam by such companies involving crores of rupees. This incidence has happened to me, who is educated and qualified, but imagine about the plight of the poor and uneducated people, who are availing or using mobile phones, all across the country and are not aware about customer care and are unable to put their grievances to any one. In the light of the aforesaid facts, I request your kind attention, so that suitable action is initiated and a thorough investigation be made to unearth such scams. Warm Regards, S.K.SINGH IT Manager, Office of Pearson Indiacan (ETEN CA) Srijan Education Centre, 6th Floor Harshwardhan Arcade, Frazer Road, Patna-1 Contact No-9334083807
