But one has to keep in mind that s significant portion of the crowd was also made up of fascist and other political right-wing groups and their supporters who are against Muslims, other minorities, and immigrant in general and want them out of the country. Someone was asking why we had not done the same after 9-11. The response was that we were in shock and trying to deal with all the death and destruction in New York and our nations capital. It is also much easier to come together in a country that is about the size of Texas. Americans did donate $1.4 Billion to help the victims and their families so it is not as if we did not care.
