To, The Municipal Commissioner Pune Municipal Corporation Respected Sir, We wish to attract your attention towards news in todays Newspaper Sakal, related to Butterfly Garden destruction to construct and install Planetarium. This Butterfly garden was built and developed in the year 2011 at whopping cost of Rs. 75.0 Lakhs. This garden was developed for citizens to have clean and fresh air also to preserve ecological balance by planting tress. The hush hush manner in which this decision to destruct Butterfly Garden and to construct and install Planetarium, raises many questions in our mind, as the same involves loss of public money for no rime or reason. The questions in our mind are as given below. 1 - We wish to know the reasons in details to demolish Butterfly garden. All the papers related to the same must be published in public domain, with names of political leadership and administration persons involved. 2 - We wish to know the reasons in details, to construct and install Planetarium. All the papers related to the same must be published in public domain, with names of political leadership and administration persons involved. 3 - Has the Standing Committee and General Body has accorded sanction to Butterfly Garden destruction to construct and install Planetarium?. 4 - In case the answer to above is No, kindly publish in public domain, the rule / act / order / circular / notification, on the basis of which the Administration has given sanction to construct and install Planetarium at hefty cost of Rs. .0 Crore of public money. 5 - The cost on installing and commissioning Butterfly garden must be recovered from political leadership and administration persons involved.
