We sometimes overlook the simple, everyday circumstances that determine our health, Poverty, where we live, education, access to healthcare, the food we eat, the water we drink, and the air we breathe – all of these and other so-called social determinant play a huge role in our health. Since the Ebola outbreak, I stood up calling for Universal Health care as defence to Protect the nation for any other Potential virus. I gave advice to look at the Healthcare in Rwanda as an example to have an insight. Many of our Fellow Sierra Leonean people live in extreme poverty (less than one dollar or two per day). Poverty creates ill-health because it forces people to live in environments that make them sick, without decent shelter, clean water or adequate sanitation and so on. President Koroma, working Fix our Nation Healthcare now is great things. I want to see your Healthcare Plan not the Vision from the Health Minister. We need to hear from you now because it show your Concern not only now but for the future. Poverty and poor health are inextricably linked. The causes of poor health for millions of Sierra Leonean are rooted in political, social and economic injustices. That’s why it is so crucial to tackle the root causes of poor health as well as the symptoms. Poorv Health reducing family’s work productivity especially the Farmers. It cause Leading families to sell assets to cover the costs of treatment. This increases poverty and their vulnerability to shocks in the future. Infectious diseases such as diarrhoea, tuberculosis, malaria, HIV and now ebola continue to kill and weaken the poorest and most vulnerable people each year. This takes children and teachers out of school and ruins economies by attacking people in their most productive years.
