As to your books problem and internet problems, diba nagbayad ka ng fees sa school, tingin mo the funds of the lsg will be solely devoted to that? School responsibilities ang libro and internet so try to think before you post. If you find that the books in the library are lacking then do your share, magsukat ka, complain to the proper forum and not here. You pretend to know everything and yet your post reflects that you don’t know nothing at all. Para sa lahat na din especially sa mga first years and second years, when you are actually in the position, its different pag nagcampaign, siguro naman tulad ko, isa sa inyo nagging officer nung high school or college and you know that as student leaders we still submit to those who are in power especially sa beda law na alam naman natin that the professors can make or break you. Secret files is not the proper forum for you to rant on your books and internet problems, you go to the LSG, you confide to them and they can help you like what they did to the Yolanda victims, I being one of them. Also, I would like to support Mr. Daniel’s comment, Jose never made any promise during his campaign, he said he will try his best to do what is stated in his plan of actions. For you to say that the lsg is busy doing events, try to think about it, put yourself in their position, in the president’s shoes, do you actually think that its easy to come up with ideas and put them into reality? Its not. It eats up your time and energy just to make sure that you deliver, and they do. Proud ako to say that they do. I had the best conflicts of law and lex celeb for my entire stay in Beda. This is the first time that I have seen a president attend all the events of conflicts and even carry the drinks of the players and yet manages to humorously converse with the students, Akosidarna, try also going to the law library so as to see that yes the vendo is working and that a lot of students be it from law, cas, medicine would come up and buy from the vendo. Kung ayaw mo naman sa vendo, then don’t but sorry to say I think majority of the students who goes to the library benefit from that vendo. The problem with students like you is that you ask for something and yet when they give it to you, you don’t notice them. Lahat ng umupo dyan sa posisyon, my pagkukulang swerte lang nila wala pang secret files nun dahil kung hindi mas madami ang post laban sa kanila. But that is not the point. Para dun sa mga nagiisip na ng iboto niyo ang mga officers nato, nagging katulong niyo na sila. HINDI. They are students of law themselves, mahiya kayo for them to devote their time and not even brag about what they have done without anything in return except for that item they can put on their resumes, so akosidarna, try mo tumakbo for the position next school year and experience perhaps for yourself. And to Jose’s speech, I still believe in that you know why because it reflects his values and take on the relationship of the students and the school, he did not even make mention of his projects in his speech in the meeting de avance because what he wanted was for the students to know his principles. Let’s do it point by point. 1. Vendo Machine- I delivered as promised. Outside the library you can see a big vendo machine which serves better tasting coffee. But the problem is it was shut down after a few days it was installed. I have kept quiet about it to the student body because if I do share the story behind why up until now it can’t be turned on, then I will be dragging people and that might work to their disadvantage. I have been communicating with those concerned since then up until now but it is either I never heard anything from them or due to other school activities, the attention was quite shifted. But until now, as I write this, I am working on it. I never had the guts to visit the library from the moment it was shut down because I am ashamed but that doesn’t mean that I gave up on it. 2. Free Wifi- you can ask Allan and Amme, we went to to find an internet provider that would be able to set-up one for the library. We had everything planned but what gets in the way are 1) the fund will not be able to sustain the monthly fee for that and since all providers offers such with a one or two year contract, then we will be encroaching upon the funds of the next LSG, something that is against my will and a tradition that has been done in the past that doesn’t deserve to be continued. If we do a prepaid wifi then that doesn’t answer the solution to the problem because as we all know prepaid internet sucks especially if to be used by hundreds of students. 2) we would have to tap in to the school’s internet and even if we do that we won’t be able to provide you the speed that you want. This was explained to us by an admin officer and that it is entire facility of san beda that needs to be improved. Perhaps, my fault is I failed to inform the students. 3. We gave you the best lex celebrationis, I am not saying this because I am the LSG head but because people came to me, thanking me for such a good experience. With the limited budget that we have, we were able to put up such an event. To those saying that LUTO ang Mr. and Ms. Lex, do you really think that I would personally work my ass on that at the expense of missing my classes and class Christmas parties just to make Kiciang Biares and Anjo David win? I put up a one man show in the name of that pageant and my friends and the other officers can attest to that as we agreed to handle several activities for the Lex week. I was sick during the pageant night but I was there personally manning the show. Have you actually seen a President directing the pageant and doing manual work, you guys can ask all the 22 candidates and they know that. So for those saying na luto ang pageant, mahiya kayo, we got four judges, 3 are outsiders and only Atty. Senga from San Beda. I don’t even personally know the three judges as it was Demph and Vance who communicated with them. After i announce ang top 5 tinanong namin ang lahat ng kandidato if okay lang na q and a na wala ng law school attire dahil pagod na din ang mga judges and everyone said YES. So sorry if I am fuming mad because I wouldn’t work my ass out para lang ipanalo ang dalawang tao. Yes they are my friends but my integridad ako and I wouldn ‘t exchange that just for a title para sa mga kaibigan ko. We provided Gatorade for all the players and we were actually there while the events were happening. Full support kami sa lahat ng nangyayari. Nagceasefire din kami and if madami ang nagtataka sa inyo kung bakit wala ang pangalan ng ibang officers sa AVP sa labas ay dahil hindi kami ang naghead nun. Marapat lang na ung mga tao behind that ay marecognize. Tumulong kaming mga officers sa gabing iyon at sa ilang mga bagay bagay na kinailangan ng team. So if hindi enough na pagpaparamdam un then I don’t know kung ano ung presence namin nun. Moreover, everything was planned, lahat inayos para sa inyo, kung mapapansin niyo from the theme, to the battle kits, to the tarpaulins, hanggang sa events and games, lahat yan pinaghirapan ng bawat isa sa amin. And at the end of the celebration, we did what was promised, we gave out trophies and cash prizes sa top 3 winners. Nung nagcacampaign ako I promised to give the COL a good lex celebrationis and I know that I was able to deliver, we were able to deliver. Para sa iba, pacencia na if it wasnt enough. 4. This coming Conflicts of Law, isa rin yan sa mga ipinangako ko. I can clearly remember myself saying na I want full support sa conflicts 2014. And yan ang ginagawa naming ngaun, again from the logo, to the uniforms, as well as sa number of games na sasalihan ng san beda ngaung tao. This year gusto natin na maiparamdam sa conflicts ang galling nating mga bedista hindi lamang sa pautakan kung di pati sa sports and other games. 5. The grievance committee and the handbook revisions, para lang po sa inyong imporsyon, hindi un pangako na naipako. Dahil ang mga iyon ay dumadaan sa proceso na hindi lang ganun kadali na gawin kaya bago niyo sana ako husgahan ay antayin niyo muna matpos ang termino ko at dun niyo ako tirahin. For the other projects like parties, sadly kinailangang isantabi iyan dahil hindi naman ganun kadami ang gusto pumunta at kalaki ang pera natin dahil hindi lang naman po sa lsg ang pera ng SAF, lahat ng organisasyon sa beda ay nagrerequest mula dun at hindi ko basta basta pwedeng tanggihan ang mga iyon dahil para din sa mga students ang activity nila. Sa OJT, ipinahauyag sa akin ng Lex Scho na kung pwede sana ay kanila na ang proyektong iyon at dahil ang mga organisasyon sa law ay nagbibigayan ay pumayag ako. 7. Yung rally, do you think we had a week to prepare for that? Wala, the day before kami ininform and we had to do everything in a matter of hours and we were there, we made it. Habang kayo you had the chance to witness that event I was in the dean’s office calling professors and informing them that your class joined the rally dahil ayaw ko na kapag naboycott ang class niyo kami sa LSG ang sisihin niyo. Itanong niyo si Fiona at Ria na siyang nagantay sa akin para sabayan ako sa pagpunta sa grand stand. 8. For the LSG shirts, before niyo kami husgahan na hindi namin naibigay sa inyo, try also to ask yourself kung nagenlist ba kayo ng shirt size and color nung hinihingi naming thru your respective batchreps. The problem is you think of us people as your slaves, well hindi. In fact, we don’t get anything out of it. Even the scholarship that the handbook provides for the LSG President, wala pa din hanggang ngayon but okay lang kasi hindi naman ako tumakbo para doon. At dun sa mga wala sa listahan, bago niyo din po sana kami sisihin ay itanong niyo rin ang beadles niyo. 9. Hindi naman po sa nagmamayabang ako, but during the first semester relief ops, I was personally there, I was carrying and packing. I did my best to make sure na magampanan naming ang role namin sa skwelahan and sa aming kapwa. Nung everyone requested na mamove ang midterms, agad agad inaksyonan namin yan. Hindi kami nagpabaya for the yolanda victims, in fact I wrote to rector asking if pwede bigyan ng scholrship ang mga nasalanta, but instead of approving that they found a different way to help which is alam ng mga nasalanta. 10. Sa kakalipas lamang na Frolics, lahat kaming officers except for Demph and Allan na who had to attend the conflicts meeting and the latter to attend sa meeting with the layout artist , andun kami, nagpamigay ng tubig, kandila at assistance na maari naming ibigay sa school. We don’t need na pasalamatan niyo kami pero don’t tell us that wala kaming ginagawa. Habang kayo ay nageenjoy ng break from midterms, I was there 8am in the morning ng friday para sa isang activity ng frolics, pagkatapos ay sa sumunod na araw ay ipinatawag naman ng rector para sa isang concern. Pinili ko maging Presidente, I am not complaining but I am telling you this para alam niyo na hindi ako walang kwenta na officer. 11. We are scheduled to talk to the CAS president para sa mga upuan sa tapat ng rooms, lockers, and water fountain, so wag niyo pong sabihin na ung mga officers niyo at ako ay walang ginagawa. My org event din kami para sa mga organizations na para mailapit sila sa estudyante. Thing is, hindi naming hawak ang lahat at batas sa beda na kung kailan naming sabihin ay agad agad na andyan. Lahat my pinagdadaanan. That is something that you have to understand. 12. Sa mga nakakarating sa akin na wala pa po ang soap sa cr, Hindi rin po ako nangako ng soap sa c.r dahil those are things na dapat iskwelahan ang nagproprovide at hindi pera ng estudyante. Ang maari kong gawin ay iparating sa kinauukulan ang hinaing na yan. 13. Sa mga nagrereklamo sa pag tapat tapat ng subjects sa exams, wala sa akin ang final say ng schedule, oo tinatanong ako sa office ng dapat na schedule pero hindi sa akin ang final say. Moreover, kahit anong pagisip namin and carefully work on the schedule para di maiwasan ang magsabay, meron at meron at meron magsasabay. Kung alam niyo lang how hard it is na magschedule pero at the end of the day my nagsasabay pa rin. 14. Sa mga “groups” diyan na nagsasabing hindi ako kumikilos wag niyo ako gamitin to uplift someone dahil kung deserve ang taong un ay mapupunta sa kanya ang ninanais niyo. 15. I wanted to keep quiet hanggang sa matapos nalang ang term ko but I don’t think that would solve the problem. If madidisappoint ko ang mga kaibigan ko or mag suporters ko then I will accept that but I also have to defend myself and the council. Like you guys, estudyante din kami and my mga subjects na pinapasukan at qpi na kailangan maabot kaya kung nakikita niyo kami nag-aaral wag niyo kaming husgahan dahil isang side lang iyon ng istorya. Bago niyo kami husgahan, ay tanungin niyo rin ho ang mga sarili niyo kung paano niyo kami natulungan. Dun sa mga nagsisi na binoto ako, I would appreciate it if you’d come up to me and tell to my face that you regret voting for me and you would want this person to be on the position hindi ung ipadadaan niyo sa secret fles. Hindi ako magagalit sayo, right mo yan. At right ko din ang ipahiwatig ang nararamdaman ko. Rest assured na gagawin ko ang mga naipangako ko. At sa secret files, I have nothing against that avenue but I hope na we are all ready for the consequences na darating sa atin dahil the professors are informed and they know what is in there.
