To all: Cross, Virgina J Age 75 of West Carrollton passed away November 1, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. Born in Pickett County, TN to Howard and Nell Rains on December 3, 1938. Preceded in death by her parents, parents in law Leslie and Rhoda Cross, Brother in law Wayne Morris, brothers and sisters in law Howard and Reba Cross, Inez and Andrew Amonett and grandson Christopher Cross. She retired from West Carrollton Public Schools after 25 years as a cook. She was a member of Miamisburg Christian Church and an avid reader. She dedicated her life taking care of others. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Harold Cross, Daughter Karen Charles (Dionne), Son Scotty Cross, Grandsons Matthew Cross (Ashley), Samuel Prather Jr and Chase Cross. Granddaughter Angela Prather and Great granddaughter Alivia Cross. Sisters Patricia Morris of Charlottesville VA and Jennifer Pedersen (Todd) of Cookeville TN and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be at Miamisburg Christian Church located at 1146 E Central Ave in Miamisburg on Tues November 5 from 5-8pm and funeral service at the same location on Wed November 6 at 11am with a 1 hour visitation prior to service. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Virginia may be made to Miamisburg Christian Church, Hospice of Dayton, or Alzheimer’s Assoc. I have somethings I want to tell everyone but just not today. Love all
