To all my FB friends and family, I would just like to personally thank each and every one of you who made the GAZA CRUISE FOR JUSTICE a massive success. Not only did we raise awareness, but we all collectively managed to raise £20000 by selling T-shirts, flags and loom band and taking donations from the very generous individuals who sponsored and attended this event. So a massive thank you to all! Aid has already started being distributed in Gaza. This includes, food, clean water and medical supplies. Alhumdolillah. May Allah azzawajal reward all you for every drop of food and water that enters the mouths of our brothers and sister in need. Ameen! Firstly, to all those who wish to criticise our efforts. Ask yourselves what YOU have done to try make a difference. Chanting, marching and pointing fingers at the Israeli embassy shouting shame on you may create awareness, which is good, but will not help rebuild hospitals or help feed them. Funds are needed and our aim was to raise awareness as well as raise as much money as possible using our platform, in a way we know how to best, and by the grace of Almighty God we managed to do so. Please, have a heart and show a little appreciation, or have fear of Allah and refrain from the negativity inshaAllah especially during this blessed month of Ramadan. Secondly, to all our sponsors who donated generously, I thank you dearly and I pray Allah swt places more barakah and success in your businesses inshaAllah.
