To all my FB friends theres a huge cell phone service outage right now across most of the midwest. Here in Colorado AT&T seems to be unaffected at least thats the case in Summit County. For Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and other carriers youre pretty much out of luck. Those of you with Android phones, you can enable WiFi Calling. Go into your settings, click the Connections tab or link and then Wifi Calling and slide to or click Enable. Im pretty sure the iPhone has something similar. If you dont have those options, you can use Skype or Google Voice. Those of you with VOIP phones (Comcast, Ooma, etc.) should still be able to use those phones. This is a good time for you all to invest in FRS/GMRS/CB/Ham radios. Remember, if we were under terrorist or foreign attack one of the first things to be shut down are the cell towers so no IEDs or other bombs can be remotely detonated. Radios, radios, radios...be prepared.
