To all my Facebook Friends, I have decided, along with 8 others from our church, Bethlehem UMC, to go on a mission trip to La Romana in the Dominican Republic. La Romana is located next to Haiti. We will be staying in a Barrio, which is a very poor community. Most of the people there earn around $5.00 a week picking coffee beans. This trip provides opportunities for both physical work, and the opportunity for VBS. We are leaving on Sat Oct 12th, returning on Sat Oct 19th. I ask that you consider partnering up with me. You can do this in 1 or 2 ways, or both. First, you can pray for us, as we prepare for our trip, or second, you can help us financially raising money to help defray the cost of our trip. The money is 100% tax deductible with the check being made out to Bethlehem UMC. You can mail the check to me and I will take it to the church. If you need my address, IM me and I will get it to you.
