To all my Mariner fan friends as you know we signed the AL 2014 HR leader Nelson Cruz to a 4 year deal to DH great move for a much needed right handed power hitting bat we needed. Now I want your input. Both the Blue Jays and Red Sox have been adding on big time. Now here are some ideas. There has been a lot off the free agents taken I like Melky Cabreara to me would be a great bat to sign to play outfield great power and hits for .avg. Now bats to trade for the one that we could get cheapest I think is Yoenis Cespedes. The other bats right now that fit are players that have been injured and have huge contracts like Carlos Gonzalez and Matt Kemp could cost us more than we want. Another player is Justin Upton but they want a young arm to rent him for 1 year. I might bite if they gave us Evan Gattis. Gattis comes with 4 years of team control can catch, play first and outfield all places we need help. If we wanted to get an extra player from the Red Sox other than Cespedes we could ask for a young player Allen Craig a great first base outfielder with power also plays great first. He comes with 3 more years of team control I think. Or we could get Mike Napoli these are all trades I have seen proposed on ESPN, Bleacher Report, MLB Rumors or CBSsportsline. Please give me your input a first baseman or another Right handed hitting outfielder that can fill in another area works well with me. Also do you think we should look for a second tier starting pitcher is needed. Please my Mariner friends speak out. Thanks lets win it all in 2015.
