To all my friends in Southern Warren County: Something was brought to my attention today that I had not thought about. Beginning July 18, 2014 MoDot will be shutting Hwy. 47 down totally from Hwy. CC to Charette Creek. Their timing sucks as this construction is supposed to end August 5, 2014 (election day). They may finish early but again, they may not. Therefore, I wanted to let everyone know that absentee voting is an available alternative in the event that you believe you may have a problem getting to your election poll to vote because of the construction. You can absentee vote now and it goes through a certain date. You can either go to the County Clerks office and vote or submit a letter requesting a ballot be sent to you. If you have any questions, feel free to call the Warren County Clerks Office at 456-3331 and they will be happy to help you. This is strictly an FYI as I hadnt even thought about it until it was brought to my attention. Please feel free to share this to all your friends......Now, back to my usual obnoxious posts.
