To all my huge DeVlaeminck family young and old; PLEASE and I mean PLEASE lets all get along. Life is to short for this to keep going on. What ever the children and the real little kids hear and see they are going to think this is the way a family treats each other and its going to follow generation after generation. They need to be taught we all fight and may disagree at times,but there is forgiveness. Heck sleep on it, grow up and the next day drop it! I was looking so forward to this weekends get together to see smiling kids running around, people laughing, good food, and plain old good times, I cant go to a get together where there is fighting people snubbing each other, what a shame! This may not mean a whole lot to some of you but let me explain. A month ago I was working 6 days a week full shifts and doing just great. Well in the last month I have been to E.R. 3 times, spent a day and a half in the hospital, had more tests ,m.r.i.s. scans, drank more crap than I could drink,tests I never heard of and even a scan in the back of a semi trailer. Two days ago I found out I have kidney cancer and also a small tumer on my brain.WOW what a thing to find out! On Monday I start radiation on my head, they figure its small so they want to blast that away first. I will lose some or all of my hair, So all you handy crafters out there I am going to need warm hats and scarfs, HA! HA! well I guess you can cry till you cant cry no more or you can suck it up and get a grip at and pray its going to be ok. They tell me after that then we will work no getting rid of that bad kidney before it spreads any more than it has and that means chemo. I have never been one for that so I will have to really think on that one. The doctors say I have a good chance of beating this because I an in no pain what so ever,healthy, good attitude,great family support, a boyfreind that has SAT and I mean SAT till we could sit no more at everyone of my appointments and most of all GOD up above is with me every day! I can beat this ,yes I can beat this!!!!!!!!!!!!! Two weeks ago I had a slumber party with my 3 sisters we had the best time ever so I have called together another one for this weekend and then Sunday morning church and out for coffee,because I need to be around a happy group of people and see smiles,hugs and just plain happy people.So people PLEASE WAKE UP AND LETS ALL GET ALONG! We dont know from day today what is in store for us or our childrens health we all need each other everyday!
