To all my local crafty friends, I got this msg from another local seller on Etsy: The annual Big Water Dinosaur Festival is coming up September 20th. Booth rental is only $20, and if you would like more info go to bigwaterdinosaurfestival/About Open Air Market and Craft Fair In Big Water, Utah Saturday, September 20, 2014 9:00 am to 5:00 pm AZ time (10:00 am to 6:00 pm UT time) Big Water, Utah is located on US Hwy 89, 60 miles east of Kanab, UT and 17 miles west of Page, AZ and 6 miles from the Southwest shores of Lake Powell. The Dinosaur Festival will be surrounding the Big Water Town Hall and Fire Station at 60 Aaron Burr, just off Hwy 89. The Big Water Dinosaur Festival is celebrating the many past and ongoing dinosaur fossil discoveries in the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and other areas surrounding Big Water, UT. The festival will have arts, crafts, food, music and entertainment. There will be tons of kids’ activities, including a dinosaur drawing and coloring contests, and the BLM will have some dinosaur themed games and activities. VENDOR BOOTH INFORMATION - Booth spaces are 12 x 12’ and the fee for all types of booths is $20.00 - All applicants must submit full payment with application. Applications must be received by Sept 1. No refunds after September 15. -Booth Confirmation and receipt will be emailed (unless otherwise requested) after applications are received and reviewed. If you do not receive confirmation please call the Big Water Town Office at 435-675-3760. - Participants will provide their own canopies/tents, tables, displays etc. If you require power and it is available, you will need to supply your own extension cords. Outlets may be several feet away, not at your booth site, and cords need to be taped down if run thru common walkways. - The festival will take place rain or shine. - Set-up will be on pavement - bring weights, no stakes. - Participants are responsible for the security of their own belongings during the event and clean-up of ALL TRASH -Booth set-up will be on Sat, Sept. 20 from 8:00 am AZ time(8am UT) to 9:00 am AZ time(10am UT). All booths must be set-up and operational by 9:00 am AZ time (10am UT). All vehicles and loading equipment must be out of the event area by 8:45 am AZ time (9:45 am UT). - All vendors selling taxable products will be given a Temporary Sales Tax License from the Utah State Tax Commission at the festival. Vendors will be responsible for collecting sales tax and reporting and sending the sales tax to the State. You can get information about Utah sales tax for special events at tax.utah.gov/sales/specialevents. Contact the festival committee if you need more information.
