To all my old Griffin High Friends: true story of the night. THIS you need to read and maybe share. THIS should be shared: up and down the 1988-1992 Griffin High walls. Mom....who was that cross dressing man singer who my Karate teacher use to say to me, Your mama needs a make-over in music tastes, and my Karate teacher would snicker when youd walk in and say, Annie Fannie, I got a mixed tape from 1989 that you need to listen to because your music SUCKS! My son asked me this tonight. Ah...Cross dressing man? The Karate teacher was our very own Scotty Morris because he teased me for years about my musical tastes, but cross dressing man singer? Boy George? Who? my son asked. CULTURE CLUB! Ah, no. This man had really bad chic hair, great legs for a cross dresser, and got an Academy Award for playing a biker chick. Oh my God.... That wasnt a man...That WAS CHER. And Scotty would have fallen over onto his back and howled at his pupil. I had a feeling SOMEONE is in heaven snorting at me tonight and probably put this on my kids brain.
