To all my precinct buddies in Washtenaw - please consider voting for Jennifer Helmer for State Convention Delegate at tomorrows County Convention. Jennifer truly has been a bridge between the TEA Party and the state GOP. I dont think there is one S.E. TEA Party leader that has not been blessed in some way from knowing her. She has TEA Party and conservative values and has been very vocal and engaged about promoting both. She is my personal friend and because of this relationship, I feel confident in asking you to please cast a vote to allow her to attend the August 23rd State Convention as a delegate. Im sure she will be available tomorrow for anyone who would like to meet and/or speak to her before the county convention actually gets underway. Below is her request and background information in hopes of garnering your support. Dear Delegate, I humbly ask for your support in being elected delegate or alternate to the upcoming state convention. I was honored to be asked by Justice David Viviano to nominate him at convention and would be proud to praise his commitment to the rule of law. With your help, I will do that. But I will need to be a delegate or alternate to be able to deliver that speech. Like you, I am fed up with government encroaching on our daily lives, out-of-control spending, and the liberal Obama policies, and I have been fighting for conservative candidates since 2009. I am proud to have worked with both tea party and Republican groups to help elect great conservatives like Pat Colbeck, Ruth Johnson, and Justices Bob Young and Stephen Markman. Through the years, I have worked with the Washtenaw County Party as well as countless other conservative organizations. I am a frequent guest to the Michigan Tea Party Alliance and considered a friend and ally of the tea party movement. I have coordinated guest speakers and spoken to Washtenaw tea parties since 2009. In 2013, I was Chairwoman of the Washtenaw Lincoln Committee that raised $26,000 to support conservative candidates and assisted in the obtaining speakers and fund raising for the 2014 Lincoln Dinner. I am working hard to re-elect Republicans who support limited government, freedom and liberty, including Senator Pat Colbeck, Secretary of State Ruth Johnson, and Justices Brian Zahra and David Viviano. I am asking for your support as alternate to the state convention. Thank you. Sincerely, Jennifer Helmer Precinct Delegate Jennifer Helmer for State Convention · Committed Conservative Grassroots Activist · Volunteer Chair, Justice Viviano and Justice Zahra, 2014 · Volunteer Chair, Justice Markman and Justice Zahra, 2012 · Washtenaw Lincoln Day Chairwoman, 2013 · Worked full-time with Senator Colbeck and activists across Michigan to help defeat Prop 2 and pass Right to Work
