To all my well known fishing friends on fb Howd ya fancy being part of a junior fish in Im trying to arrange at jubilee pools coventry. Im a committee member of the leamington angling association one of the oldest, if not the oldest angling clubs in the country at just short of its 125th anniversary, inspired by the carp societies, Junior carp camp I have instructed at for the last 2 years my brainchild is to run a junior fish in during the school holidays, Saturday August 16th, aimed to show and teach 2-18 yr olds (accompanied) how to fish in a variety of different ways, My plan is to zone up the lakes (jubilee & the horseshoe lake ) as specific methods tend to work well on different areas of the lakes, then the kids will move round in groups hour by hour, Im hoping to zone up the lake and have such things as a bottom bait zone, floater zone, zig zone, chod zone, whip zone, feeder zone,carp on the fly zone, fish care zone rig clinic, casting zone etc all with resident experts exhibiting all day in there specific area of expertise/zone whaddaya reckon??? Well chuck on a BBQ as we have a great marquee and arrange plenty of activities to run alongside it. To be confirmed but I will push that All proceeds will go to charity, hopefully or the motor neurones disease and we can all get kids helped in the process to ensure the futures bright on all fronts. Without peoples help getting it off the ground it WILL be a struggle and the more of my well known friends who can get involved will add serious weight to this event so sorry if Im Gonna nause every expert I know up! please contact if anyone is interested in joining in and helping, the more the merrier and lets all put something back ;) Please like and share this gents to get the word around and keep an eye out for future posts.
