To all of Payden and my friends and family. Ok, so to clear the air.... Because of all the on going remarks about Payden and I getting married we feel like we need to make it now publicly known via facebook, mainly because our other plan of sending out INVITES at the beginning of 2014 to his family has been rendered because of us actually having a little ceremony this year. For those of you who have been wondering- we had decided to get actually married on November 12, 2013. This being because that is a special day for us and we are happy with it. We did not pick it so soon to hurt any body or to make any one feel left out. And I can understand why some would feel like that especially when you see updates about the progress of our little wedding this year. But for people to leave rude remarks on a happy status of mine is really hurtful, not only to myself but to him. Now, as for this year, we are only allowed a TOTAL of 10 people at the ceremony, this means that Payden, myself AND the Caplan are included in that 10. So that leaves us with only 7 people to invite total. Naturally we had to pick the family members closest to us... we are having a mini reception afterwards, but could only invite around 20 people due to spacing and the little budget we had to go with. Because of the short notice and it being so expensive to get from AL to CA our plan was this: to have all of Paydens family members get Save the Date cards starting the beginning of 2014, giving every one plenty of time to save, plan and enjoy. We want all of you to celebrate this special time with us! But with the limit on what we can do for this year we thought it best to have a vow renewal next year that included EVERYONE. Sorry that this may have brought confusion, resentment, or anger to any of you. We did plan this out and think it through, and this was the best conclusion that we could come up with so that we can have that wedding experience with all of you. In no way should we be criticized or talked down to. And it kind of hurts that instead of congratulations from any one we are getting would have been nice to be invited, whats going on, etc We do not appreciate the negative remarks made public, if any one had questions they should have made it known in a private message, we would have been happy to explain exactly what I just did to you. We look forward to having all of you celebrate with us next year.
