To all of my family & friends patiently awaiting my reply; I would like to thank you for your continued patience. I SO appreciate your outpouring of love and shoulder offerings. If you are wondering where I am, or how I am doing; this is my current and continuing situation: I’ve been spending months of long days and late nights - Battling liars that attempt to smear my Council member’s good name Elle Cochran) and solid intentions while she works tirelessly for the public that she represents; - Gathering proof and facts that back my previous statement up. (I’m ready when/if anything comes); -Standing shoulder to shoulder with our community, real farmers, Kanaka, educators, the medical community, parents, and keiki to defend Hawaii against one of the world’s most powerful chemical corporations—for the simple and justifiable right to know that what Monsanto and Mycogen are spraying and growing right next to our homes, schools and communities ARE SAFE. -Defending my boss’s integrity against one of the largest Development SuperPACs that I have ever seen infiltrate a County Council race; Which is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in mere weeks to push their developer-friendly candidate’s name and face to voters. -dealing with between $500-$1000 worth of theft of campaign property issues from disingenuous bullies in our community that charade themselves as do-gooders. -Working a full time position as an Executive Assistant to a woman that I admire so much; I will continue all of the aforementioned work in my unpaid free-time until we triumph. -Being a mom -Being a wife -Being a daughter -Being a sibling -and I lost a part of my heart with the recent passing of my father. Through it all—I am OKAY. I am a fighter and an optimist and I NEVER give up. So, don’t worry about me. I will be back when it’s done. I love you all so much for loving me. It keeps me going strong.
