To all of my fellow collectors please be very careful when purchasing signed items, just because something comes with a C.O.A. that doesnt always mean that they are real. If a price seems to good to be true then it probably is. I understand that autographed items certified from the highest regarded companies such as PSA, JSA, Steiner & JJJ can be quite costly but so can purchasing fake signatures. I have been collecting Wrestling autographs for over 34 years and I have seen a lot of people try to make a quick buck off of overzealous wrestling fans and it is loathsome to see. A few of my suggestions for the newer collectors that are interested in buying autographed items is to 1.) Be familiar with whom you are dealing with and inquire as to when and where the autograph was obtained. 2.) Do your research........the same signature on the same photo can range widely in value based on the certifying company. 3.) Learn to identify the stamps, holograms, or certificates used by various certifiers. You may find you prefer one over others and this can actually aid you in being more fiscally responsible when buying. 4.) If the deal doesnt feel right dont do it! 5.) The absolute most important thing is that you have fun in what you are doing and you just may make some new friends in the process. I apologize for the long post I just want to pass on some of the education that I learned the hard way. If anyone has any questions I will always try to be fair and honest because my top priority is not making the most I can it is to help preserve a hobby that I have spent my entire memorable life devoted too with tremendous thanks to my father!
