To all of my friends of Bill W. a true friend, mentor, and was in his 39th year of sobriety passed away yesterday. Joseph "Joe" Gentry was taken to meet his Lord and Savior yesterday morning. I first met Joe at the Westside Club in 1993, in what is referred to back then the bowling alley, where he was chairing the Joe and Charlie Tapes on Thursday Night. This meeting grew so large it replaced the meeting in the Big Room at Westside. He was a living example of a true loving member of our fellowship. He will not be forgotten by many! We already miss you my dear friend, but I bet the big meeting in the sky just got there chairperson for many meetings to come and my hopes is one day once again I too will attend a meeting where he will lead by example once again. I love and miss you buddy and my hopes and prayers go out to your family during this time of loss! Joe Gentry we will miss you!!!!
