To all of my friends, thank you for all of your outpouring of love and support......this is a difficult post for me but I am not one to shy away............. Over the years Terrie and I have had the fortune of walking to the Rainbow Bridge with thirty plus fur kids who chose to adopt us......the last was in 2010 when our ten year old Great Dane could no longer stand or walk and had started loosing her bowels........It does not get any easier and I know many of you have recently made this trek with your fur kids and know of which I speak......I would have it no other way and neither would you........Vincent was not supposed to be here....he was a foster who was going to be a difficult rescue......I love working with the tough ones.....watching the transformation is the biggest reward.......But Vincent soon became more than a rescue, he became a mission.......One who had been abandoned by the Man he had trusted his whole life to and then the Man who was entrusted to help him trust again broke that trust horribly.........so then I step in, another Man in his life......with the help of Benny and the jesters, and Terrie, VVG began to trust again and not just us, he began to trust others.....my son Shawn, my grandson Caleb, Sandra and Craig, Suzanne, Michele, Jeanie, Amanda, Kristen and Marlin.........All of the people who met him at the 2014 BRAT conference - Chey, Katharine, Liz and Bill, Deborah, Elizabeth, Suzee, Linda and many more...........each and every one of you were instrumental in VVGs dramatic change..............Thank you so much, you will never know how much I appreciate it.............. Soon we will have to embark on the final journey and I want each of you to know what your words mean to me.......I will continue to share VVGs final days with you as most have been following him since his loud and boisterous arrival into our lives............and rest assured, I will not be the last Man violate his trust, I will be there with him until he crosses over........
