To all of our Facebook friends, Eastern Suburbs LAC for the last 4 years has held ongoing fundraising efforts for the Royal Children’s Hospital in Randwick. Last night (26th of November) we hosted a trivia night, resulting in a significant number of generous donations from local businesses and sporting franchises. Thanks to these donations we have quarantined some of them to auction on our Facebook page. Please note that ALL proceeds from the sale of these items goes directly to the Children’s Hospital, and indeed the winning bidder will transfer payment straight into the Children’s Hospital website fundraising page. The link below is not only for the auction winners, it is also for anyone else who would like to donate to this charity. The first item we are going to auction is an exclusive Black Valet parking card for Westfield Bondi Junction and generously donated by them. The card is valid for 12 months. This entitles the user to free unlimited valet parking (normally $15 each time) Full terms and conditions are available on the Westfield parking website. If you were to use Valet parking every day throughout the year the card would save you approximately $5000. In order to bid on this item and help a truly fantastic cause it is asked if you could email Sergeant John Oliver attached to Eastern Suburbs LAC on the following email address [email protected] with your highest bid. The auction will remain open until 7th December and the highest bidder will win the Valet Card which in turn can be picked up from Waverley Police Station once the successful bidder has transferred the winning amount to the donation page (you will receive a receipt for payment which of course is tax deductible). We will auction further items over the coming weeks (this is the only Black Valet Card available). The more people that bid on the auction items the more money we can raise for the Childrens Hospital at Randwick.
