To all of our MTJ brothers and sisters: As we rode the trails - TopicsExpress

To all of our MTJ brothers and sisters: As we rode the trails today after the Jeep pic (thanks again Mark Hendrix), I couldnt help but reflect on what these past few months have meant to our group. What started as a few locals with one common interest has since grown to over 350 strong. Some have made every event; every ride. Some have yet to join us on the trails, but theyve joined us virtually, and thats a great start. Youve posted over 1000 pics, dozens of videos, and I have no idea how many posts. The group today consisted of every make and model from 79 to 14; every age group; Moms and Dads; Grandmas and Grandpas; babies, toddlers, kids, tweens and teenagers. Every get together has had a number of four-legged friends as well, and today was no different. We even had a camera wielding drone today (much to the chagrin of that dachshund). The point of this rambling on is this. Bonds have been formed. Friends have been made. Real friends; not the fake kind we find in this electronic gizmo. Thats special, and we need to appreciate it for what it is. We have a forum to share funny thoughts, cool pics, awesome projects we are working on, mechanical help/questions and just about anything else Jeep. Lets respect the power of this medium. It reaches 350+ group members as well as every friend the poster has and whomever they wish to share it with. I hope we can all respect that fact and the responsibility that demands. Negativity has its place. This isnt it. As I looked out over the group this afternoon, and I saw my 8 year old daughter smiling ear to ear as we spelled out the word that brought us all together, the only thing I could think of was Theres no way anything negative can exist in this group of people. Thanks for indulging me for a minute. I really appreciate all of you and the unique and wonderful things each of you bring to the table. Goodnight!
