To all of our members: Thank you all for your support! We have a tentative agreement between the main negotiating committee and the company. In accordance with our by-laws, tomorrow morning the entire grievance committee will vote on it. If it is adopted, by the committee, summaries of the agreement and ballots will be mailed out for the members to have the final say. We will be working on scheduling an informational meeting as well. As soon as we have a date and location, we will let you know. We cannot discuss the details tonight, as the committee must vote first. Details will be forthcoming shortly after that vote. But we feel strongly that is a fair deal. Everyone should report to work as normal, as we are signing a four week extension to our current contract to give us plenty of time to explain, answer questions, and allow our members to vote with confidence.
