To all of the classmates of Shiprock High 66-70 Howdy. I was blessed to be in a school system where we were all one body truly. When the rest of the country was going through desegregation and busing, we were oblivious to that. A gentleman who was a graduate from SHS and I were talking the other day, we commented how fortunate we were to be part of that era where we were not touched by the racism and turmoil that was going on around us. At any rate it did not touch us as students. WE were and still are family. we can be apart for years, then come together and that feeling of brotherhood and sister hood is still there. What a blessing is. We still rock.
