To all of the parents out there, when you are embarking on the journey to STAND UP to the family court system, whether you are standing up on your own to face the judge or with an attorney by your side. When you are battling for your children, when you have spent your last dime, when you are wondering how you are going to go forward and fight…… EDUCATE YOURSELF….. Educate yourself on the legal system, procedures, policies, etc… Educate yourself on your rights and the rights of your child, MAKE YOURSELF as smart as an attorney by studying, researching, asking questions, reading, watching videos, whatever you need to do…. You already have the drive (your child), do you have the focus? Do you have the ability to sacrifice the time to learn? I often see posts of the terrible stories that we have all become so accustomed to hearing, but what are you doing about your situation?
