To all our Western Australian readers, what do you think of a ban - TopicsExpress

To all our Western Australian readers, what do you think of a ban on Lycra at the Raffles Hotel, Perth? Is it justified or pigheaded? Why should we care if they dont want the money of riders as a captured audience? Would be great to see the City of Melville can allow someone to put a coffee cart or outside canteen nearby for the use of the riders. (We see a small business opportunity here). It does seem a little weird given the growth in the sport, imagine if all the bike riders and their families stopped going to the hotel to demonstrate their feelings. One thing is for sure, from their website, it was built for sports people originally: This heritage-listed hotel has a long and colourful history. Built in 1896, she was known first as the Canning Bridge Hotel, a popular spot with many social and sporting groups, and ‘at its busiest on Hunt Club Days’. https://au.news.yahoo/thewest/a/25960487/raffles-lycra-ban-official/
