To all parkers in Scranton, Pennsylvania - please share this important message. As published today in The Scranton Times-Tribune, Beginning November 11, the city of Scranton begins to enforce a two-hour parking limit city wide with an LPR system installed on a patrol car. Therefore, as per the city’s ordinance, parkers are not able to park in the same on-street parking spot for more than two-hours. However, Pango parkers can enjoy the following benefits while still meeting the ordinance: - Parkers do not have to predict the time they plan to park. Instead, parkers pay only for the exact time they parked for. - Pango users can also opt in to receive a reminder text 15 minutes before the time expires. - Parkers simplify the parking payment process with Pango since it is a license plate based system. - Pango transfers payments associated with a vehicle when moved to a different parking spot within the same zone.
