To all, particularly those struggling with their faith or trying to gain a testimony: Let me recall to your memory the importance of the Book of Mormon. There is no more powerful tool in our personal conversion. As a convert, and after talking to literally thousands of members and investigators of the Church, I`ve come to realize that it is actually the only tool to achieve lasting conversion. I have yet to meet someone who gained a testimony of the Gospel by a way other than reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it. I have heard some (particularly younger members and recent converts) say things like: There are just those little moments that add up for me to a knowledge of the Gospel`s truthfulness. That is a good start, but in this viscious world, it is certainly not enough. Those who see good things happening as proof of Gospel truth will likely see bad things happening later as evidence against it, unless they have built their testimony on the solid foundation of the Book of Mormon and answered prayers about it. I urge you to study the Book of Mormon, and to pray about what you read as you do so. This pattern, in conjunction with regular Church attendance, will give you power to withstand the storms of life.
