To all persecuted communities, regardless of faith, colour, language or creed, facing death-threats, discrimination, systematic annihilation and state-sanctioned genocide, I feel loss at what action to take. All I can do is lend my little voice to make an appeal to all I know to resist hatred and lies and fear-mongering and the politicizing of religion with truth, with friendship, with cross-cultural interactions and inter-religious dialogue. All Malaysians of goodwill must do their part. Even if its a small part. Let your voices be heard in casual conversations, in status updates, in blogs and articles, in the lessons you instill in your children, in every little thing you do. For the ideology of hate, which leads to great injustices is upon us, and its stronger than ever because those in powers have no balls or decency to nib it in the bud. A cancerous ideology is a breeding ground for hate-mongers. And there is no point in arresting those who hate when the ideology is allowed to exist to breed more and more people with the mentality of barbarians.
