To all the mammies out there done a paediatric first aid course today with early years first aid in thurles. I cant give enough praise for the course, there was so much valuable information given to deal with different circumstances with babies and children, choking, burns, CPR. Today before i dont the course i would not have known how to deal with a baby choking or giving cpr to a baby - after today I would be confident in doing it. I think every mother should do this course. It is vital to know how to deal with all the things that can happen in a calm and confident manner instead of a state of panic. I for one am a very happy parent that i done it and i will continue to do it every so often to brush up. Early years first aid is on facebook so just search for it if interested.
