To all the special people who kept me in their thoughts and prayers the last couple of days, I owe you my life literally! Monday morning I climbed some stairs and experienced some shortness of breath. No big deal, but within 10 minutes or so,, I started sweating profusely and feeling awful. I told my wife to take me to the ER because I hadnt experienced this feeling before. To make a long story shorter, they found two major clots (one in each lung) and one in my left leg. Evidently, the clots in my lungs were significant in size enough for each doctor I saw to tell me that people have died with less. They placed a filter inside me yesterday morning and I will be on blood thinners the rest of my life, but Im here to tell you I AINT complaining. To any and all my friends, family, classmates I want you to know that the only real warnings Ive had with these blood clots (I had my first one post knee surgery in 2009), was a feeling of a pulled calf muscle in 2009 and this one was a little knee/leg pain with small swelling in my left leg the night before plus the shortness of breath. My advice, do not ignore these symptoms! The best medicine Ive received though, is all the contact each and everyone of you have made to me. I am forever indebted to each and everyone of you! I hope to see each and everyone of you soon to personally thank you! Without question ,The Lord said Eric it AINT your time yet so folks lets keep this thoughts prayers thing going for all who need it! Amen!
