To all the woman out thier who are married to a veteran, thier are alot of men that have served our country that have psychological problems after their tour is over an dont realize it. Symptoms include an dont be surprised if uve noticed some or all of these in ur spouse or family member. Sleeplessness, anxiety, unable to set still, bad temper, crying spells, afraid of the dark, shaking, moody, depressed, cant keep a job, cant keep a relationship, suicidal, fighting, mistrust, lie, impotentency, most men an woman never get treated for thier illness an thier spouses an family dont know how to deal with them an the Veteran ends up alone an in worse shape. I watched my late husband battle with post dramatic stress syndrom for years an once the doctor at the VA finally diagnosed him with pdst our marriage was nearly over an my husband of 16 years, my best friend shot himself out by a veterans cemetary near our home. I miss him an wish id done more to have helped him get help. I just felt compelled tonight to share my story an raise awareness to any of u that have family members serving or prior service, stand by them an get them help, id give anything to have my hero back.
