To all university students who are conducting an experimental research, tell this if your supervisors blame you for your statistically insignificant research results. The researchers task is to carry out a well-designed, well-analyzed study. It is the researchers responsibility to provide a fair and valid examination of the study hypothesis. It is not the researchers task to reject the null hypothesis or produce statistically significant results. If researchers knew the results of their study beforehand, there would no need for research (Gay, 2006;387).
