To all who have been praying for my household... a deeply heart felt thank you. Scores of you have responded here in text and in person. The battle was a long long fought battle and it did finally come to a head and forward progress has been made. Significant progress. Weariness and discouragement was a hard battle to fight... but God ... through his prayer warriors helped us walk the journey to completion and despite the intense attack on us we saw the victory. This has been perhaps the single most difficult battle I have journeyed and the lessons learned along the way will remain with me for life. I found how weak and dark my soul can be and how gracious and kind God is and how in my weakness he hears my cries and meets my needs. Perhaps a life has been saved, time will tell but at least the first real step has been made. I have heard it said, the first step is the hardest and boy howdy ... waiting and hoping and praying and striving for the first step to happen took a toll ... But God is bigger than all situations and He has a plan. God is rich in his mercy, serious about commitment, and far more loving than I will ever understand. Thank you so very much.
