I could go on about how T2 surpasses the others, but the matter is T3 here. T3 presents the idea that Judgment Day, the day of the nuclear war, is inevitable and there is absolutely nothing that can be done to stop it. That, my friends, is scary. This scene in particular is just gold. It shows the best acting from Arnold in the whole film as John Connor, played by Nick Stahl, pleads with and tries to reason with the Terminator.
