To any of my non-Christian friends who would be willing to comment: This time of year, how do you interact with Christmas music? Many, many classic Christmas songs are about Jesus, calling him King and revering him as Savior, such as Joy to the World, O Holy Night, Silent Night, Away in a Manger, We Three Kings, Little Drummer Boy, and O Come All Ye Faithful, to name a few. Of course, there are plenty of secular songs as well, like Jingle Bells, Frosty, Rudolph, and tons about Santa. So, if you are not a Christian, what do you do? Do you just avoid the religious carols? Do you listen to them and/or sing them? If so, do they mean anything? As a Christian, I find great meaning in them and consider them rather worshipful. It just struck me how ubiquitous songs about Jesus are this time of year, and I wondered how non-believers deal with it. No judgment, just curious.
