To anyone suggesting Israels war on Hamas is justified given the escalating existential threat of radical Islamic extremism posed by murderous, militant jihadist forces sweeping through Iraq and Syria, let us all scrupulously scrutinize ISIS for signs of U.S. intervention since it sure wouldnt be the first time America had a hand in the formation/emergence of an Islamic terrorist organization... I bring this up in reference to Hamas because while Hamas, Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and ISIS are not one and the same, Israels attacks on/against Muslims and Arabs in occupied Palestine only fosters and foments anger and hatred that, in turn, unfortunately find a home in these extremist ideologies, militant organizations, and fundamentalist sects. After watching Adam Curtis The Power of Nightmares (which I highly recommend), I have to say it seems entirely feasible that the rise of Islamic fundamentalism and Islamophobia is part of a meticulously-orchestrated master-plan with the players, puppets, pawns, and paupers involved all making predictable moves and thereby effectively--even if unwittingly--fulfilling their pre-determined roles and falling into the carefully-planted trap.
