To argue against global warming is like standing beside the arc - TopicsExpress

To argue against global warming is like standing beside the arc laughing at Noah as the water is up to your knees. We are going to have to accept this unless people really do things to change this. If 30% of the population traded in there gas engine for an electric car, seriously protest, then business and governments will notice; but as long as 67% of a barrel of oil is used for transportation, it will always be a hard fight. (Same as when the backbone of the economy was Sugar and Slaves, then Coal, and now oil.) If Governor Brown won his battle we would have had almost 14 years of electric engine technology behind us with a real viable military engine which would seriously reduce military budgets. (Think about it - how much oil is used to fly planes, run tanks, ships, so on.) We are now going to see fracking - even when places like NS vote in an anti-fracking government - and fracking WILL damage our water table. Every place there is fracking, there is contaminated water. Fracking is a mini earthquake and they cannot control the spread of the chemicals - THEY CANNOT!
