To assert that Marxist-Leninist doctrine of the early twentieth - TopicsExpress

To assert that Marxist-Leninist doctrine of the early twentieth century paved the way for Stalin, is not only pseudo-historical but also a denunciation of what socialism actually is. Lenin distrusted Stalin, said he was one of the largest threats to socialism and the Soviet Union, in his last will and testament. To be a socialist means to believe in the power of the working class to overthrow the capitalist structures, unfortunately Stalin was not about that. Peasants in the Soviet Union were murdered based on race, religion, politics, wealth and some higher-up bureaucrats due to Stalins paranoia (i.e. look up Nikolai Bukharin) and need for total control. So, if you are unfamiliar with socialism, Marxism-Leninism, or someone praising Stalin for his contributions to Marxism then unfortunately they are missing what socialism is all about. Hope this wasnt too sectarian for yall ;)
